CLIMACT coordinated the development of the Walloon Building Renovation Strategy. As part of the process, we assessed the literature on renovation challenges and initiatives, we organized stakeholder workshops on renovation techniques, financing and measures to enable its implementation, we supported the administration and the Energy Ministry cabinet through the negotiation and validation processes.
Around 150 stakeholders were involved in the process, the government approved ambitious renovation objectives and a set of measures to achieve them, the strategy was published on time and submitted to the European Commission.
