Climact calculated a full-scope carbon footprint (scopes 1, 2 and 3), compliant with the GHG protocol for the entire GANTREX group worldwide. A baseline ‘business-as-usual’ evolution of the footprint and indicative science-based targets was modelled. A preliminary assessment of key actions to implement was conducted, in particular regarding purchasing less carbon intensive metals.

Impact
GANTREX now has a robust mapping of its value chain emissions and is able to develop a credible climate action plan, cornerstone of its ESG strategy text.
