As one of the largest electricity producers and energy suppliers in Belgium, Luminus decided to partner with CLIMACT to understand what carbon neutrality means and how to achieve carbon neutrality while supplying electricity and gas at fair prices in Belgium.
CLIMACT has been assessing GHG emissions of Luminus for 9 years already. Building on this assessment and our knowledge of low carbon pathways for energy sector, we have developed several carbon neutral scenarios for Luminus by 2050.
